There is a first time for everything, even if it takes 33 years!
I was using my cordless sander to sand the top of my door. The 3 pound battery decided to fall off and landed on my bare foot! Ryan, my to-smart-for-his -own-good hubby says that the force at which it was falling was about 20 pounds of pressure. All I can say is OUCH! I went to the doctor and surprise! I had a fracture in my toe. This is the first bone I have ever broken in my entire life!!! I had a good run while it lasted.

Ouch! Sorry about that. Why were you sanding the top of your door?
Wow, you've led a careful life to make it 33 years without a broken bone! Way to go and join the rest of the broken bone group. Sorry, to hear though. I'm sure it hurt!!! And seriously, Mrs. Crafty what were you doing sanding your door?
I have four of those very same batteries. I've been injured by them too - mostly by dropping them when I'm trying to get them to snap in. I guess that's just the price you pay to be handy. :)
