This was Abby's prayer tonight...

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank thee for today.
Thank thee for my bed and my books.
Thank thee for my voice.
Thank thee for my food.
Thank thee for I can obey my mom and dad
and not get in the pantry to sneak suckers anymore.
Thank thee for my brother and sister.
Thank thee that I can hold hands. (my favorite!)
Thank thee that I can have good dreams.
Thank thee that I can say only good words from now on
and not say bad words anymore.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

First Hair Cut

Abby's birthday was last week. Since Ryan was in Korea on business, we didn't celebrate it until he got back. We didn't even tell her it was her birthday on the actual day! I wanted to make it a special day anyway so I took her to get her first ever haircut! (Not including the time she cut of a little chunk of her hair with cousin Aidan.)

We got her hair cut at this cute place where the kids watch a movie and sit in a car while they cut their hair. Abby chose to watch "Enchanted".

Free Day At The Zoo

Today was free day at the zoo (which does me no good at all since I have a season pass). As with anything that is free or cheap or a deal in Utah, it was PACKED! It was a nice day though so it made it a perfect day to get out of the house and let the kids have some outside time. No surprise but we went with Auntie Sherilyn, Aidan, and Mikell. If it weren't for her my kids would never do anything fun!

We went to the gorilla exhibit and the female kept making this kissy face. Monkey see and Monkey do and Lu did not stop making this face for the next half hour!

Sleeping Beauty

Abby was so tired this morning. She made herself a little bed out of her kitchen toys and snuggled up in front of our still unfinished fireplace (yes, it has been 6 months since the tile was ripped out and nothing has been done!)


Yep, a microwave as a pillow. That could NOT be comfy!
Then she woke up after me taking pics and got on the couch only to fall asleep AGAIN just in a new position.

Poor little thing was sooooo tired!

I've been having a bit of a rough day and was talking to a close friend about it and her daughter overheard. A while later I got this email saying that Lexi had drawn this picture for me so that I would feel better. What an amazing, sweet little girl. I love you Lexi. Thank you for making my day much brighter.

My friend Steph and her kids (Sky, Jett, Brooke) were over the other day and her son Jett who is 3 was chasing Abby and Sky around the house tormenting them as only little boys can. I was walking by my laundry room and heard the dryer door close. I looked and no one was in there so I walked over to the dryer and this is what I found...

They said it was the only place they could get away from Jett!

St.George

We went to St. George to visit my parents this weekend. We had a good time and I got to take pictures of the temple. This temple is one of my favorites and is also the temple I went through for the first time.
