Since Monday was a holiday Ryan had an idea that we go to a ghost town. Of course I wanted to take pictures so I invited Mike, Annie and my photographer buddies and off we went to Ophir, which was said to be an abandoned mining town out towards Toelle. We left really early to get there at sunrise and well, let's just say we were extremely disappointed. It's no longer a ghost town and they moved all the cool old buildings to one place and replaced them with new homes. I was so bummed! We got out and took pictures anyway and of course had fun!

Mike and Annie

Look closely, this picture freaks me out when I look at the eyes!

Another tribute to a horror movie - can you guess which one?

Ryan was mad at me for leaving him with the girls while I went and had fun!
Kidding! He brought it for protection, you know how scary ghost towns can be - oh and don't worry, it's not loaded!

Kristi

Scott

My prize picture - a real bald eagle in the wild! We pulled over to take pics of the trees and Scott spotted him in the tree. He was huge! It was 4 degrees there by the way!
After all the driving and all the fun, we stopped here to eat!

This happens more than you think with 3 photgraphers in a group!
Overall, fun day with family and friends and my camera. Doesn't get any better than that.
