It's a beautiful day

My mom gave Abby this music box last Christmas and she loves it. I pulled it out of the decorations this year and she doesn't want it to go back so I will let her have it a while longer.

Louisa sat in something

Louisa has recently discovered she can climb up on the barstools and get on the counter. So today, she climbed up and before I got to her, she had spilled orange juice all over her and stuck her hand in the syrup from breakfast. I picked her up and took her to the laundry room and took off her shirt and washed her hands and then put her on the floor so I could start a load of laundry. I walked out to the family room and there she was, dancing. I then noticed something that I hadn't noticed before! Apparently her hand wasn't the only thing she stuck in the syrup!

Here she is dancing!

Then she turned around to reveal what she sat in and what was now stuck to her bum!

She noticed it about the same time and tried to take it off.

It was on there good! Even she couldn't get it off!

Louisa is 18 months old - Can you believe it??

A Few More Ghost Town Pics

My friend Scott finally got his pictures edited from Monday, (not like he has a million things to do anyway!) Here are a couple of me I wanted to add since I am never in any of my pictures and have no proof I was actually there!

This is me taking a picture of the light socket. I know I look ridiculous, but look how cool the shot turned out!

Ghost Town?? Maybe not

Since Monday was a holiday Ryan had an idea that we go to a ghost town. Of course I wanted to take pictures so I invited Mike, Annie and my photographer buddies and off we went to Ophir, which was said to be an abandoned mining town out towards Toelle. We left really early to get there at sunrise and well, let's just say we were extremely disappointed. It's no longer a ghost town and they moved all the cool old buildings to one place and replaced them with new homes. I was so bummed! We got out and took pictures anyway and of course had fun!

Mike and Annie

Look closely, this picture freaks me out when I look at the eyes!

Another tribute to a horror movie - can you guess which one?

Ryan was mad at me for leaving him with the girls while I went and had fun!
Kidding! He brought it for protection, you know how scary ghost towns can be - oh and don't worry, it's not loaded!

Scott

My prize picture - a real bald eagle in the wild! We pulled over to take pics of the trees and Scott spotted him in the tree. He was huge! It was 4 degrees there by the way!

After all the driving and all the fun, we stopped here to eat!

This happens more than you think with 3 photgraphers in a group!

Overall, fun day with family and friends and my camera. Doesn't get any better than that.

New member of the family

No I am not pregnant if that is what you are thinking but I have a new friend that has become part of the family. His name is Scott Jarvie and he is the photographer that has been teaching me a lot about photography. He stopped by the other night and stayed for dinner. True to form he had his camera in hand and took pictures. This is Scott. He loves Gushers fruit snacks, photography, and texting.

This is my favorite! Lu with her hand in her mouth like that. She is my little thinker!

I snuck his camera and took these! (I sooo want his camera - the D700)

Abby loves to help clean - it won't last long, I know.
This is one of Abby's favorite Toy Story Toys she got for Christmas. It is the Janie doll that you can remove the head and put on the Teradactyl head like the movie! This is Kristi, another new friend that I am seriously considering adopting as well!! Her and Scott are so goofy and fun!
