A Glimpse of Summer
Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous so I took the kids to my friend Steph's house and let the kids play in the backyard all day. They had a blast and I think Steph is going to have to plan on seeing us a lot this summer since her backyard is awesome!

I have to explain these next pictures. Lu woke up early and then played for hours in the backyard. She didn't have a nap at all and after a while got sooooo tired! She went over to the picnic table and sat there for a while, fighting the sleepies in her eyes. It was the cutest thing!

In the end, she won the battle to stay awake and got up to play some more - once she was in her car seat, it was lights out immediately!

Somone got into Mommy's nail polish!
Abby came downstairs with a very sad look on her face like she knew she was in trouble. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "I got in your nail polish." Then she held out her hands and showed me. I couldn't be mad. It was too cute! At least she didn't spill it all over the carpet. Then I would have been mad!

This is her, "I think I'm in trouble" face!
I repainted her nails for her and did her toes too! I've never seen her so happy and proud. What a cutie-pie.

Easter Sunday

I curled Louisa's hair for the first time and I love it!

Grandma Jo went to church with us and gave the kids presents after.

Abby was happy about her $5!

Michael helped the Easter Bunny hide all the eggs. He loves doing that stuff now that he is older!

This was the first year Louisa could actually hunt for the eggs! She loved it.

She was not so sure about the slide - it's a good thing Uncle Matt was there to catch her!

Ryan and his friend Nick. Technically Nick is now my friend too so this is OUR friend Nick!

Abby dropped her basket and was sooo sad. She started crying and we thought she hurt herself. She is so sensitive!

I promise I was there but as usual someone has to take the pictures and not be in them!
