Abby's Birthday on Sunday the 15th

I think we felt really bad that we didn't celebrate or even tell Abby it was her birthday on the ACTUAL day of March 11th so we had another party for her on Sunday. The funniest part is that every day since, Abby thinks it's her birthday again!
















Next year she is going to have such high expectations!!!!!

Happy birthday my sweet Abby Jane. It has been 5 amazing years and I love you with all my heart.

Abby's Birthday on Friday the 13th

Abby's birthday this year was celebrated 2 days late so daddy could be here. We went to Jungle Jims with some of her closest friends and had a blast!

A Child's Prayer

This was Abby's prayer tonight...

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank thee for today.
Thank thee for my bed and my books.
Thank thee for my voice.
Thank thee for my food.
Thank thee for I can obey my mom and dad
and not get in the pantry to sneak suckers anymore.
Thank thee for my brother and sister.
Thank thee that I can hold hands. (my favorite!)
Thank thee that I can have good dreams.
Thank thee that I can say only good words from now on
and not say bad words anymore.
In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

First Hair Cut

Abby's birthday was last week. Since Ryan was in Korea on business, we didn't celebrate it until he got back. We didn't even tell her it was her birthday on the actual day! I wanted to make it a special day anyway so I took her to get her first ever haircut! (Not including the time she cut of a little chunk of her hair with cousin Aidan.)

We got her hair cut at this cute place where the kids watch a movie and sit in a car while they cut their hair. Abby chose to watch "Enchanted".

I love this new length - it's so much easier to brush and style!
