Waiting For Jesus

Right now we are driving down to St. George. Abby was looking out the window and said, "When Jesus comes he is going to come down from the sky with angels. He isn't going to come for a very long time though. He won't be here until Christmas." Then she looked out the window and said, "I am going to watch the sky for Jesus." After a while she said, "Oh, I just saw Jesus' feet!"

Camera Poltergiest?

I am convinced that there is a ghost that loves to take pictures with my camera. Every time I download photos from my SD card there are pictures that I didn't take and they are always blurry so I am lead to believe it is a ghost!=) Here is some of his work.

Vote For Miguel

I have to take a moment to brag about my Michael. He started 6th grade at a new school this year without any friends. The first week of school they sent around a sign up sheet for kids to run for student counsel and Michael signed up. This Wednesday they had to get up in front of the other kids and give a speech. I made this t-shirt for Michael with a matching poster and Ryan helped him write his speech. To make a long story short, HE WON!!! I am so proud of my counselkid!

Beautiful Destruction

There was a huge fire on the hill by my house today. Our house wasn't in any danger but others were including a friend. Their house is okay but it was scary for a while.

This is my favorite picture with the natural white clouds in the background and the fiery smoke in front.

If you look closely there is an eerie face that is sideways looking down at the fire with a clawed hand making a fist in front of it. Can you see it or am I just crazy? Maybe both!!!

Michael had his first football game of the season today. He has never played tackle football before and he is loving every minute of it. He is a lineman and is quite the natural athlete.

The day has finally come when our little Lulu has decided to walk! She has been taking one or two steps here and there (I have tonz of video to prove it) but nothing consistent. Well, tonight as we were getting ready for bed she decided it was time -- here is the footage!

First Day Of School

Michael and Abby had their first days of school today! Michael is starting at a new school and Abby is starting Preschool! Whoohoo! Party! I wonder if they would let Louisa hang out in the back of Michael's class so I can truly have a break! My cute Abby

I made her school bag and loved it so much that I made one for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! Leave it to me to go overboard!
Michael is now in 6th grade!!! I know -- I can't believe it either. He will be in Junior High next year! AHHHHH!!! Just breathe. Just breathe.


So it has to be said that I found the cutest first day of school outfit ever! Ryan and I were walking in the mall and saw this outfit in the window of Gymboree and had to get it for her first day. Here are some closer shots.

Birthday Present

So my sweet hubby has been watching my growing obsession with photography and for my birthday bought me a Nikon D8O with two VR lenses. I have been a little overwhelmed trying to figure it out but here are a couple shots so far. Keep in mind these are unedited. I am trying to get used to the camera before I try to tackle an editing program as well!

I am going to start photography classes at the University of Utah in September so hopefully my picture taking skills will drastically improve. Right now they just look like some guy bought his wife a professional camera and she doesn't have a clue!
