Going Private

I'm doing what I thought I would never do. I am making this blog private. I feel like between Facebook and my 2 photography blogs, not much is private in my life anymore. There are some things I am afraid to post wondering who could possibly be looking at it.

If you want to be invited to view my blog once it's private, leave me a comment with your email and I will add you to the list. Thanks :)

California Vacation

The last week of February we took a family trip to Anaheim for a family vacation.

Love our hotel right by Disneyland with two bedrooms

Of course it's not a vacation without someone getting injured!

Poor Abby stubbed her toe on the door.

Ryan and my room above, kids room below

After getting all checked in, we went for a walk on the pier to get dinner.

I guess birds can read afterall

Louisa saw seagulls

Disneyland

Abby didn't get the memo that Disneyland is the happiest place on earth.

I am hardly ever in pictures since I am the one who knows how to use the camera. The next picture is the only one I let my husband take and it says enough as to why it's better if I just take them...

At least the family behind us is in focus!

It's A Small World is a family favorite!

I'm forced to get creative if I want to be in any - such as looking for mirrors

This picture of Lu makes me crack up. That smile on her face looks like she knows something no one else around her does!

I'm such a bad mom! I took Abby on Splash mountain thinking she would love it. Boy was I wrong. She was terrified!

The haunted mansion didn't look very haunted so I fixed it. I was so happy both Abby and Lu went through it and weren't scared!

Time to meet Tigger and Pooh

I think Lu loves Tigger

Michael was excited to see Joe Stevensen, a UFC fighter

Nemo's Submarine ride

Alice in Wonderland

Michael's face says it all

We saw ducklings at the park

Abby's favorite movie - Nightmare Before Christmas. Yes, it's mine too :)

My first time trying this in camera - I need more practice!

The next day we went to Knott's Berry Farm and quickly realized it was not for little ones and left after we rode the merry-go-round!

We opted to go back to the hotel and swim

Our last day

Yes, daddy has taught all the kids to blow the paper off the straw. Sorry to all the victims who have had paper hit them in the head every time we have eaten out since.

Poor Abby got a heat rash on her face

We went here-

This fish scares the bejeebees out of me. He was the size of my 13 year old son and he was looking at us like he was hungry.

At least he smiled at me.

The kids loved petting the sharks

We got to feed the Lorakeets

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.

I love how Ryan looks hungry in this one. Must be those ginormous crab legs!

Goodbye California, until next year!

Now for the LONG drive home!
